Mayalde is a traditional music group that has specialized in recovering the music of the soul for 38 years. Listening to their concerts is almost indescribable, because the world of sensations they provoke is endless. Blending life and art, Mayalde It is made up of Eusebio and Pilar, from La Maya and Aldeatejada, from whose names they formed the group. About 16 years ago, their two children, Arturo and Laura, joined the group. They have shown a curiosity for folk music since childhood.

The group's originality lies in making music out of anything, seasoned with all those stories and songs heard from the lips of the elderly, from the history and rhythms that remain only in memory and recollection, and which they strive to preserve as honestly as possible.
