Guided route, medium difficulty (9 km), Manuel González will guide us on a round trip with a single objective, to see some of the best examples of Chestnut trees in the Ambroz Valley.

Landscape, biodiversity, and local wisdom in Casas del Monte.

On this special route through Casas del Monte, we'll be accompanied by Manuel González, an expert on the trees of his town, to guide us through a place of great natural beauty. Along the way, we'll discover trees with remarkable biometric features, living witnesses to the passage of time and the connection between the community and its surroundings.

An experience that combines local knowledge, agricultural landscapes, and spectacular views of northern Extremadura.

  • Medium-high difficulty. For those accustomed to hiking in the mountains. The first section of the route is over 12% track. Good fitness.
  • Specific mountain footwear is required.
  • Highly recommended walking sticks.
