Eugene Fuentes (Montehermoso, Cáceres, 1958) has successfully established himself as one of the most prestigious Spanish authors of crime fiction thanks to the cases of his detective Ricardo Cupido: The interior of the forest, The blood of angels, The pianist's hands, Body to body, Against the clock, Mistralia, Black stones y Dogs looking at the sky They tell stories set in a Spain far removed from the big cities. 

He is also the author of the novels Veins of snow y If I die tomorrow, as well as the trials The Bonfire of the Innocents y The underbelly of the heart. With Wendy, Eugenio Fuentes returns to his inland territory, with a story of young football prospects embroiled in online harassment problems, and a detective who may be starting to suspect that he is already a bit old for the times.
