Álvaro Tejerina is a great lover of popular culture linked to plants, he has written a book about medicinal plants in Monfragüe, and he is the coordinator in Extremadura of the ARBA association (Association for the Recovery of the Native Forest), with which he carries out numerous environmental volunteer activities throughout the region. In his words, he likes to know, conserve and love, to spread popular culture about plants, to be a chronicler of what is alive, of what is green that surrounds us, walking murmurs that recede.
