XXVI Photographic Rally. Vicente Castellano Memorial and Instagram Contest

This year, the Photographic Rally reaches its 26th edition, just like the Magical Autumn, with a novelty: a day of camaraderie.

Registration is done online, to participate you can sign up using this form: Registration Form Link.

Participation is free. Additionally, on Saturday, November 25, you can enjoy the activities of the Solidarity Day in Gargantilla, which will end with the screening of the best photos of 2022.

To participate in the contest and be eligible for prizes, you will need to send your photos via wetransfer before December 9, as explained in the rules that you can download here: Link to the Rules.

Prizes: A total of €1,900 in prizes will be distributed, with the following categories: a first prize of €500; three prizes of €400, €300, and €200 for second, third, and fourth place overall, respectively; three honorable mentions of €100 each for the following photos:

• The funniest photograph.
• The best gastronomy photograph.
• The best photograph of the “The Magical Adventure of Mr. Autumn” Parade (Hervás, November 11, 2023, from 6:30 pm).

An additional prize of €200 will be awarded by the public through their “likes” on Facebook; in this category, the winner cannot be someone who has won in the last two years. A €30 school supply voucher will be awarded to the best photograph taken by someone under 14 years old.

INSTAGRAM CONTEST: Simultaneously, there will be a contest on Instagram among photos tagged with #otoñomagico23 (8 prizes of a beautiful and tasty Iberian chorizo ​​each). The winner will be chosen by a jury of photography enthusiasts. Photos uploaded until December 4 will be included in the contest (to participate, they must have a “public” Instagram profile so that we can view them).

FACEBOOK CONTEST: One photo per participant will be anonymously posted in a gallery within the Magical Autumn page on FACEBOOK. The photo that receives the most “Likes” between December 15, 2023, and midnight on January 18, 2024, will receive a special prize of €200. In this category, the winner cannot be someone who has won in any of the previous two editions. Within one week, participants must communicate to the email ambroz.mágico@valleambroz.com or the DIVA phones whose photo is participating in the FACEBOOK contest; If they do not do so, it will be selected by the organization.

DAY OF CAMARADERIE

To recapture the spirit of the early photography contests, on Saturday, November 25, the day of the Solidarity Day in Gargantilla, participants are invited to paella and can enjoy the activities of that morning from 1:00 pm onwards, as well as the screening of the best photos from the 2022 Rally at the Casa de Cultura de Gargantilla at 5:00 pm
