The Railway Interpretation Centre is located in the former passenger building of Hervás station (Cáceres). This museum offers a journey through the historical evolution of the railway, analyzing its origins and describing its main characteristics. The museum focuses on the passengers and the anonymous stories held within their luggage, all presented in an industrial aesthetic and the romantic atmosphere of train stations.
Summer hours (from April 01st to September 30th)
Mornings: Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00
Evenings: Tuesday to Saturday from 17:00 PM to 20:00 PM
Winter schedule (from October 1st to March 31st)
Mornings: Tuesday to Sunday from 09:30 to 14:30
Afternoons: Tuesday to Saturday from 16 to 18 pm
Closed Sunday afternoons.
Closed Monday.
