"El Nevero", an old snow well located in La Garganta. It was one of the most important economic activities at the beginning of the century. The old snow pits were used to store snow during the winter, to later sell it in large blocks, using large teams of muleteers and even the train as a means of transportation. Currently, most of the wells that existed are in ruins and covered, but one of them has been recovered, becoming one of the symbols of the town. This well, about 6 meters deep, is built on stone and is located in a strategic position to maintain the ice for as long as possible, hidden in the shadows of a pine forest. There is a route that passes through El Nevero and is signposted, with an information panel at the access to the well.
