La Chorrera is an impressive waterfall of the Ambroz River. There is a signposted hiking route (Route number 15 of the Ambroz Valley Trail Network) that takes us to the waterfall, located about 12 km from the municipality of Hervás. Well known locally, the hiker and nature lover who approaches this beautiful town with Jewish resonance will not overlook the attraction that the waterfall offers. Being a route that we can consider medium demanding, it meets the requirements at the same time. to spend a pleasant day touring the mountains that surround Hervás and enjoying its pleasant landscape. The route is rich in streams and springs, the chestnut and oak forests will provide shade if you decide to do it in summer, and the fruit trees and Meadows alternate with those on the shady slopes, so that they make up a varied picture that is completed with alder, hazel and ash trees on the banks.
