The section of the GR-10 long-distance trail in the Ambroz Valley begins at the top of the Puerto de Honduras, at the watershed between the Jerte and Ambroz valleys. We descend to the town of Gargantilla. From here we continue descending towards Aldeanueva del Camino. We cross the interesting architectural core of this town and finally, through completely flat terrain we arrive at Abadía. The trail continues its journey towards the Granadilla land region.
