Route 1, suitable for strollers ⇒ 1 km
A short walk of just 900 meters. In these parts, it's said that good perfumes come in small bottles. It will allow us to discover the most mountainous village in the Ambroz Valley, where the wolf had its last territories. Today, a charming visitor center displays the visit to which, combined with the walk, makes for an excellent opportunity. (Route on Wikiloc)
Route 2, easy but not suitable for strollers ⇒ 3 km
Situated at an altitude of over 1200 meters in the foothills of Gredos, with a livestock trail passing through La Garganta, we had to seize the opportunity to make a living off the ice and herding cattle to wintering grounds. This route allows visitors to discover places that reveal the municipality's economic past, along with an invention used to fight the enemy of livestock farmers: the Corral de los Lobos (Wolf Corral). Today, there are no wolves, and few livestock farmers, but there is always light, like the spectacular, clear sky that can be observed from the starry viewpoint, which this route also passes through. Route 3, for healthy families⇒ 6,8Km
A walk to experience the transhumance along a long stretch of the La Garganta Livestock Trail, offering a glimpse into the "other valley," the one that descends to Baños de Montemayor. The final surprise is at the La Garganta Viewpoint, a newly renovated area offering one of the most comprehensive mountain panoramas in northern Extremadura. (Route on Wikiloc)
