The smallest town in the Ambroz region, with barely 200 people living in this beautiful village built from the granite of its scree. Its mountains are still alive with sheep, cows, and, mostly, goats. A stroller-friendly walk allows you to see the entire village from the Mirador de La Cigüeña (Stower Viewpoint) and the most famous Veton figure in the valley, El Toro (The Bull), located in its charming square. Route 2, easy but not suitable for strollers ⇒ 4,5 km

It's time to "tie your shoelaces" to walk along paths made by goats and sheep, which, when you look up, allow you to enjoy the Gorge Grande. Oak-covered mountains (Quercus pyrenaica) and imposing century-old chestnut trees (Castanea sativa) Located in the shadiest areas, close to the Temblar stream, which gives them their name. First, and very remarkable, is the experience of climbing the El Picute scree. Route 3, for healthy families⇒ 6,2Km

For the more experienced hikers, the Los Lagares route will take us through the lower part of Segura de Toro. Olive groves are used for table olives and oil production. It is in these areas that the Ambroz Valley's uniqueness lies in the embrace of the most strictly Mediterranean type of forest with holm oaks (Quercus rotundifolia) and cork oaks (Quercus suber) adapting to the lower rainfall in these sites.
