Its cherries are very well known, but especially its plums of the Reina Claudia variety, which are sold through the San Pablo Apóstol Cooperative.

It has a birch forest that is protected under the figure of Singular Trees. Old holly trees grow next to their gorges.

In the Buitrera gorge is the natural pool, with clean, fresh water and a comfortable picnic area.

Next to this pool, the Camino de los Carboneros begins, which runs windingly uphill to the famous Puerto de Honduras, a passage towards the Jerte Valley.

For a walk you can choose to take the Bosques del Ambroz trail. If we choose the Hervás direction we will see terraces of cherry trees and the beautiful Castañar del Duque. If we decide to head towards Segura de Toro we will enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Gargantilla pasture.
